That the City reconfirm its current policy of not being a full member in
the Labour Relations function of the Greater Vancouver Regional District.

WHEREAS the lands hereinafter described are not required for municipal
purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated;

NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that:

1. Parcel “A” (L83816E) of Lot 14 and Parcel "A" (H71707E) of Lot 15, both
of Block 3, District Lot 379; Group One, Plan 1213, New Westminster

District;

be solid to New View Society, #1-2232 Elgin Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C.
at or for the price or sum of $230,000.00 upon the terms and conditions stated
in the tender call.

The Adjustment date be August 31, 1989, or earlier;
The Possession date be August 31, 1989, or earlier;

The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the documents necessary for
the purpose aforesaid and to affix the Corporate Seal of the City thereto.

Alderman Keryluk referred to the Development Services function of the
Greater Vancouver Regional District.

That Mr. Michael O'Conner of the Greater Vancouver Regional District be
invited to appear before Council and explain his position and that of the
Regional District regarding transportation problems in the Northeast Sector,
particularly with regard to rail transport.
