SUBJECT; Equipment Replacement - Mower

Recommendation

That Council authorize the purchase of a rotary mower from
Oakcreek as outlined in the attached cost comparison.

Background & Comments

At the January 20, 1992 Council Meeting approval was given to replace
the rotary mower for the parks division. In keeping with the
purchasing policy, this piece of equipment is over $50,000 and
therefore needs to be brought back to Council.

The City Mechanic has recommended that the unit from Oakcreek meets
the mechanical specifications. The mower from the other companies do
not meet the mechanical specifications.

There are sufficient funds in the
Parks & Recreation Equipment
