THE CORPORATION OF THE | CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MAR 17 1986 MEMORANDUM TO: B. Kirk March 11, 1986 City Administrator FROM: F.E. Peters, P. Enge, City Engineer SUBJECT: Hisway Development Restrictive Covenant Recommendation: The Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the attached restrictive covenant on behalf of the City of Port Coquitlam. Background and Comments: Servicing requirements for the development at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Coast Meridian Road Included the provision of a detention pond to reduce the impact of rainfall run-off on the surrounding ditch. The detention pend is part of the fot on the property which [fs destgnated for Church use. The Church has not yet been constructed and therefore the detention pond is part of the landscaping rather than part of a future parking lot. In order to retain control over the depth and volume of storage in this detention pond, It Is necessary for the City to retain a restrictive covenant over the site preventing any future owner from altering the critical dimensions. The restrictive covenant as attached now requires execution by the City. Hh Sere | FE. Péters City Engineer: FEP/kIn Attachment ne cement min peeneaet gs ieee:
