July 30th, A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on July 30th, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, L.M. Traboulay and M.R. Wright in attendance. Alse in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., Assistant City Engineer L. Melnechenko, P. Eng., City Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer, and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following Zoning Public Hearing: proposed By~law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, B/L #1681 - i City of Pt. Coqi 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered. Zoning B/L, 1979, No. 1651, By-law No. 1681: Amend. B/L, 1979. To remove the Zone Designation of RS-2 assigned to Lots 16 to 29, (Ulster St. Between Essex inclusive, Block 13, Southwest Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, Plan & Chelsea.) 2797, New Westminster District; and, that portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 2797 included within the red outline on a By-law plan prepared by W.E. Frith, B.C.L.S., and dated June 2ist, 1979, a copy of which said plan is attached to and made part of the "Ulster Street Road Closure By- iaw, 1979, No. 1679"; and the west 94 feet of Lot 1, Block 14, Southwest Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, Plan 2797, New Westminster District, and, the west 94 feet of Lot A, Block 14, Southwest Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, Plan 5114, New Westminster District; and to assign the Zone Designation of RS-1. The City Planner then explained the proposed rezoning stating that the property is located on the west and east sides of Ulster Street between Essex Avenue and Chelsea Avenue and is being rezoned in order to permit the subdivision thereof and it is expected that twenty-one single family residential lots will be created following completion of the rezoning procedures, No one was present to speak on the proposed rezoning.
