3ist, 1977, recommending payment of Accounts totalling $162,698.66 and
$122,289.35, respectively, be approved. Carried.

posed Crime Prevention Programme for which an expenditure of $10,000.0V0

had jointly been allocated by the City and District of Coquitlam, advis-

ing that the R.C.M.P. have now submitted a revised Programme (the details

of which are contained in an accompanying memorandum from Constable Hauka
dated August 26th, 1977), and pointing out that the originally required Budget
of $7,240.00 has been reduced to $4,955.00, due to the fact that they do

not have enough manpower to complete the programme before the end of the

year.

That the request of the R.C.M.P. as outlined in a memorandum from
the City Administrator, August 30th, 1977, for approval of a revised Crime
Prevention Programme requiring a jointly-shared budget expenditure by the
City and District of $4,955.00, be approved. Carried.

Superintendent, attend a Training Institute in Eugene, Oregon, September 14th
to 16th, 1977, sponsored by the International Northwest Parks & Recreation
Association, be approwd, and that his registration fee of $30.00 and regular

per diem expenses in connection therewith be paid by the City.
