October 20th, 1975 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on Gctober 20th, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, H.W. Mabbett, P.F, Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten, ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following Public Hear- ing ~ B/law proposed By-law to authorize issuance of a Land Use Contract would now No. 1399 (Land Use Contract be considered: No. 15) By-law No. 1399: To authorize the Council to enter into a Land Use Contract with Horner Developments Ltd., 1036 Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C., in the form and to the extent set forth in "Land Use Contract No. 15" which said Land Use Contract is annexed to and made part of the By-law and the said Land Use Contract No. 15 shall extend to and shall regulate the development and use of Lot 34 and Lot 35, of Block 3 of District Lot 379, Group One, Plan 1213, New Westminster District. The above-noted property is located at the South- east corner of Shaughnessy Street and Whyte Avenue (2548 and 2550 Shaughnessy Street) and upon its issuance Land Use Contract No. 15 wili permit the land, buildings, and structures located or to be located thereat to be used for Commercial purposes only including the housing of a Public Library facility all as set out in Section 4 of the said Land Use Contract No. 15. The construction of a 2- storey building is permitted by Land Use Contract Nc. 15 and various provisions are contained in the said Land Use Contract concerning the consolidation of the property, the size, shape and siting of buildings and structures and various other matters.
