CITY OF PORT COQUITIAM

During the month of June, a total of 60 dogs were impounded as Opposed to
31 complaints which is a very acceptable ratio.

The number of dogs claimed, 46 is above the normal average in relationship

‘to the number of dogs impounded. In addition , 12 tickets were issued and

this brings the total to 124 for the year as opposed to 72 in 1974.

The number of animals being destroyed, bicked up dead or destroyed surplus
to requirements is showing a rapid increase. ,

‘During the month, 3 horses were impounded in the City of Coquitlam.

‘A meeting should be held between the Society and the City of Port Coquitlam

to discuss further requirements for animal control within the City of
Port Coquitlam.
