Out of 20 members who attended the last teentown party, only four altend- ed the meeting of which they had been informed at the party. The meeting was comprised of five members, all boys, one of whom had missed the party. Real- izing that something must he done, the five of them made a quorum and a meeting was held. It was decided that a plea should be made to the parents. Parents: If your teenagers are already members of our teentown please try and help their memory by tak- ing an interest in and asking ques- tions about teentown. If your teen- agers are not members and you live anywhere in the Thornhill, Old Airport Road area, we would appreciate it if you would encour- age them to join. Further infor- mation may be obtained by phon- ing Darold Swanson at VI 93-2613, or Steven Scotton at V13-2832. A social evening will be held at the English residence on River Road Friday evening, April 22. All teenagers in the Thornhill area are invited. It was also decided that a car wash would be held in the near future to raise funds for our cen- tennial project. STEVEN SCOTTON, Vice-president, Thornhill Teen Town.
