In the article about Jean Fahrni, I made a number of errors. In paragraph 3, about the UBC Summer School: 1. It wasn't the first summer school in ceramics; it was the first summer school in ceramic sculpture. 2. She studied under sculptors like Louis Archambeau and Olivier Strebelle, and with potters Tommy Kakinuma, John Reeve and Harry Davis In paragraph 5: 1. Jean and her husband went to Indonesia, not Thailand, to set up an orthopedic clinic in Djakarta. 2. What she thought was "sophisti- cated local pottery” turned out to be 12th-16th Century Chinese trade porcelains. 3. The trip to the Sankampaeng Kilns in Chieng Mei, Thailand was later and the ware she saw there were more primitive earthenwares and stonewares. One final goof: The review starting on page 8 of "Making Marks” by Robin Hopper was by Rachelle Chinnery. Her name was there, but it slipped into cyber- space and I didn't notice. My apologies to Jean and Rachelle, and to the readers of BC Potters for these mistakes.
