THE NORTHERN Health Authority could
offer a registered nurse refresher program
here in hopes of attracting people back to
the profession.

Refresher programs are one of the
more immediate ways being undertaken
by health care ‘officials to ease the nur-
sing shortage.

While more money is being poured
into expanded nursing programs at col-
leges and universities, it will take several
years yel to produce graduates. ;
