Soccer playdowns THE WEEKEND of June 22 and 23 was huge for soccer players and fans in Terrace as Christy Park hosted the Provincial Playdowns. The hometown Terrace Under 17 Boys were division winners. That means that they will be heading to Van- couver Island later this week to represent the northern region in the Provincial B Cup finals. In the Under 12 division, Quesnel, took, first, place, with Terrace coming in second. Terrace also placed © second in the Under 16 Boys division, with Prince George heading to the finals. It was a nail-biter in the Under 14 Girls division, as the Terrace girls were tied with Prince George at three points a piece after regular play.
