David's parents are Bill and Grace - Foote. The wedding took place at the Knox United Church. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Stan Bailey and Shirley - Lindsay. The bride looked ra- diant in a long white satin ‘gown, with puffed sleeves and elbow length gloves, as she was ' escorted down the aisle by her father. She carried a lovely bouquet of orchids, carnations, - stefanotis and ivy. Her blond hair was accented with a ‘beautiful headpiece of pearls and tiny white flowers. Maid of Honor, Debbie Schaeffer from Terrace, and Bridesmaid, Renee Duplisse of _ Salmon Arm, B.C: wore tea length black and white taffeta dresses and carried yellow roses with ivy. It is a na- . tional walking event for per- sons 55 and over, Over the course‘of 10.days, a person tecords the distances walked each day. They are then phon-— ed in to a central recording © point, where all the mileage is totalled, and ‘from that they figure out how many miles they’ve walked to the moon and back. The moonwalk is also part of the Fitness Challenge on today between Terrace, Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
