It has been announced by A. R. Reusch, President of the Farmers Union of B.C. that on April 9th an all-day joint meet- ing was held in Langley be- tween leaders of the B.C. It was decided at this meet- ing to appoint a committee of two members of the Federation of Labour and two members of the Farmers Union. The com- mittee will meet periodically and make a study of problems that affect both farmers and labor. The committee will add to its members for the purpose of carrying on research work and will send its findings to members of both organizations through news releases It was clearly and definitely understood at the meeting that the Farmers Union of B.C. is not engaged in party politics.
