Ecole Mer et Montagne

Le 11 avril dernier, on célébrait la féte de Pdques a I'école Mer et montagne. Le tout a débuté par
un spectacle de talents. Les jeunes et moins jeunes ont offert leurs soectateurs des chansons, des
piéces musicales, des danses ainsi que des démonstrations d'acrobatie et de karaté. Par la suite, une

éléve nous a fait une prestation sur notre tout nouveau mur de grimpe. Ce mur de fabrication locale
a été offert par l'APE aux étudiants de maternelle a 6e année. Mer et montagne est la seule école a
posséder un tel mur de grimpe a Campbell River. La soirée se termina agréablement par un souper a
la fortune du pot.

On April 11th, an Easter celebration was held at Mer et montagne Scho-
2, ol. This began with a talent show. Participants of all ages treated fhe

audience to songs, musical numbers, dance performances, acrobatics
and karate demonstrations. Afterwards, a student did a presentation about
our brand new climbing wall. The wall was made locally and was given by the
APE to the students, ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Mer et montagne
is the only school in Campbell River to have a climbing wall. A potluck supper
provided a happy ending to the evening.

Prématernelle V'ld I’bon vent

A V'la I'bon vent, nous avons eu bien du plaisir a explorer le theme de la nutrition
et pour compléter notre apprentissage nous sommes allés visiter une pizzeria. Les
enfants ont eu droit a une visite guidée du restaurant et ont ensuite eu la chance de
mettre la main 4 la pate en préparant leur propre pizza ! Notre sortie s'est terminée
en beauté avec la dégustation de nos délicieuses pizzas.

e At V'ldI’bon vent, we had a lot of fun exploring the theme of nutrition, and
<= fo round out our learning experience, we visited a pizzeria. The children
were given a guided tour of the restaurant and then had the chance to

handle the dough by preparing their own pizza! To top off the field trio, we ate our

delicious pizzas.
