SUBJECT: Proposed 1993 Soil Bylaws

Recommendation:

lL. That the original soil bylaws namely, "Soil Deposit Regulation Bylaw 1992, No.
2665," Soil Removal Regulation 1992, 2666" and "Contaminated Soil Deposit
Prohibition Bylaw 1992, 2664" be abandoned by rescission of the three readings
previously giver to these bylaws.

2. That the three proposed 1993 Soil Bylaws being; "Contaminated Soil Deposit
Prohibition Bylaw 1993, No. “" "Soil Removal Regulation Bylaw 1993
No. ; and "Soil Deposit Regulation Bylaw. 1993 No. ; be forwarded to the
City Clerk for final preparation and then forwarded to City Council for
consideration and first three readings.

3. That Schedule "A" of the Contaminated Soil Deposit Prohibition Bylaw, 1993

No. ; be adopted as the City’s definition of contaminated soil.
