Winds over 70 kilometers per hour lifted the roof off the warehouse at the back of MacKay's Blown away Funeral Service in Terrace on Thursday, Jan. 8 at approximately 8:40 a.m. Police report On Saturday, Jan.3a single vehicle accident oc- curred on the 4500 block of Lakelse. RCMP reported the driver received minor facial cuts. The accident occurred when the driver suffered a sudden seizure causing the vehicle to go out of con- trol. Terrace RCMP re- ported the vehicle swerved right and drove over a fire hydrant; removing the structure from it’s base. Then veering left it cross- ed the four traffic lanes and drove on the north shoulder of Lakelse Ave.. The vehicle continued to travel west bound and knocked over a small tree. Then turning in a large cir- cle it struck'a building and drove through a pole sup- porting the roof over-hang of another building.
