newly constructed homes.

That the various amendments to City Bylaws regarding useer fees for newly
constructed homes be approved.

Carried.

From the City Engineer, July 19th, 1990 regarding Westwood, Kitchener &
Woodland Intersection Project.

Noved by Alderman Gates:
Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

1) That Council phase the construction of the Westwood improvement as follows:

(a) Phase I =< Construction cf the Westwood/Kitchener intersection and
realignment of Kitchener,

(b) Phase II - Construction of an additional left turn lane on Westwood,
and an additional right turn lane on Lougheed at_ the
Lougheed/Westwood intersection.

That Council authorize staff to proceed with construction of Phase I at
this time.

That the City request the Ministry of Transportation & Highways to
construct an additional right turn lane on the Lougheed Hwy. for traffic
turning north on to Westwood.

That the City continue to negotiate with the owners of Poco Place to
obtain additional land along Westwood.

That the City construct the left turn lane at the Lougheed/Westwood
intersection when the additional land is obtained from Poco Place.

From the City Engineer, July 19th, 1990 regarding Wilson Connector to Como
Drive.

That Council direct staff ta prepare terms of reference for Transportation
Consultant Services for the development of a conceptual plan for the Wilson
Connector.
