A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of port MAY 26 1986
Coquitiam to dispose of portions of Road shown dedicated JUN 23 1986
in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New westminster

District in exchange for a portion of District Lot 340, Group

One, New Westminster District, to be established as Road. ;

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is desirous of cancelling
portions of Road shown dedicated In District Lots 232 and 540, Group One, New
Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British

Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner ot the fand described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has
agreed to convey +he said land to the City so that it may be established as an
addition to the Roads in District Lot 3406, Group One, New Westminster District;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of fhe Revised Statutes of British
Golumbia, 1977, provides that the Counct! may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a
highway In excuange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving,
widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the hignway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam,
in open meeting assembled, enacts as fol lows:

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam fs hereby authorized to convey to The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam, ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or
tracts of iand and premises which may be more particularty described as follows:

All those portions of road shown dedicated in District Lots 232 and 340, Group
One, New Westminster District shown hatched on a reference plan certified by DJ.
Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated The 8th day of May, 1986, a copy

of which is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of $1.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of
land described in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam Is hereby authorized to purchase of and
from the Registered Owner thereof ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of

land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows:

All that portion of.Lot 12, District Lot 340, Group One, Plan 71468, New
Westminster District, shown within the heavy outline on a reference plan
certified by D.J. Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated the 8th day of
May, 1986, 3 copy of which is attached hereto;

at or tor the price or sum of $1.00 in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of
land described In the preceding Section hereof.

Those portions of Road shown dedicated In District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New
westminster District, described in Section 1 hereof, are hereby closed and stopped up

to tratfic of all kinds.
