Hosting of Games by Maple Ridge The Committee felt that further examination of Maple Ridge's timing to host the Summer Games ought to be studied in terms of its possible adverse effects on Coquitiam considering 1986 for the Games. = . Item 5 Expo _'86 Ron Reicheit agreed to be tn contact with Patrick Reid of the Expo. '86° orgahization with the view of identifying program conflicts that may occur in August of 1986. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: “If the member municipal councils are serious about hosting a Summer Games in the near future, that a mayoralty committee be struck to meet with the past chairman of the Richmond Summer. Games Advisory Committee in order to discuss the commitment/ benefit ratio associated to hosting a 8.C. Summer Games."
