Hydro expense) the City of Vancouver requires a Council resolution and executed agree~ ment (attached hereto). The Committee recommends Council approve the City of Vancouver's requirements, ITEM IV Re: Port Rec Centre Parking The Committee recommends that the four STAFF parking stalls located north of the Laking Room be moved to the east side of the old rink. ITEM V Re: Truck Tenders At the May 16th, 1977 Council Meeting Council approved the purchase of two 1977 Ford LN-800 trucks from Rod McCallum Mercury Ltd. at their quoted price of $25,418.28. A purchase order was subsequently issued but Rod McCallum Mercury have - refused to supply the trucks at their quoted and accepted tender price because they claim that they unknowingly omitted an ex- pensive item and they are not prepared to make up the difference. Representations have been made to Rod McCallum Mercury Ltd. and to the Ford Motor Company without effect. The Committee has no choice but to recommend that the next lowest tender by International Harvester Co. Ltd. be accepted at their tendered price of $28,263.00 and that no further business be done with Rod McCallum Mercury Ltd. Respectfully submitted, Sd. y ; V.G. Borch, P.
