. Last Saturday evening I attended the honor performance of
annual Coquiltam District Musical Festival held in the gymnasium of

‘Coquitlam Secondary School,

A week ago I attended the musical production of vue "Sound of

“held in the same gymnasiun. .
I find it rather appalling that there is no properly equipped school
auditorium in our City where such events could be held. .
I realize.that past efforts to obtain such a facility in a Port
- Coquitlam School made by. the District #43 Schocl Board have been futile but
urge both ¢ Gity Council and the School Board to strongly renew their requests
for | this badly needed facility.

‘L. would suggest that a letter be sent to both the School Board and

the Minister of Education in support of this request,
