I get strong ideas, sink my hands into the clay and go further, losing and loosing myself in form and texture. The clay brings focus to the moment and refreshing playfulness to life. My sense of fulfillment is enriched when people touch and are touched by my pottery. ‘This show presents decorative and functional hand built organic forms and wheel thrown pieces—all handmade and unique work. Clay pieces are bisqued, and then fired to Cone 6 in an electric or gas kiln. TOP: Passion Shield, by Ekta Nadeau. ABOVE: Three tumblers.
