May 30, 1990 is the day to run, skip, bike, swim or walk to participate in the seventh annual Terrace-Kitimat-Prince Rupert Fitness Challenge. Prince Rupert, last year’s Challenge winner, has challenged Terrace, along with Kitimat, to a com- munity challenge as part of Canada’s Participaction Chal- lenge. The community that has the highest percentage of par- ticipants turning out for a minimum of 15 minutes of con- tinuous physical activity on May 30, wins. Join us for-15 minutes. The City of Terrace Parks and. Recreation will be coordinating the Terrace Fitness Challenge. We have contacted businesses, schools and community organi- zations to encourage people to participate either as a group or as an individual.
