Delegates will attend the CPF annual general meeting, plenary sessions with nationeally-known speak- ers, and their choice of workshops. Each year 100 members from across Cenada are sponsored by CPF to attend this conference. The sponsored dele- gates receive their transportation, accommodation, end some meals, but are expected to pay the modest regi- stration fee levied all who attend. This year there will be 15 svonsored delegates from B.C. They will be chosen by the provincial executive to represent as closely as possible the various geo= graphical areas of the province and the number of members within the communities. Sponsored delegates must make a commitment to svend their time and efforts towards accomplishing the goels of CPF and to share with their communities their learning about French education from the National Conference. Members wishing to become sponsored delegates must advise the Director (Judy Gibson, 3250 Cornwall St., Port Coquitlam V3B 3G7) in writing no later than July 31, 1980, explaining what contribution tney plen to make to the local or provincial organization during the year following tne conference. Candidates may also be nominated by other members.
