From the Director of Planning, July 20, 1994 regarding Rezoning Application No. 20/93 for

That Council approve an extention of Rezoning Application No. 20/93 for 2455 Ottawa Street
for a period of one year, commencing July 27, 1994, subject to payment of a nonrefundable
processing fee of $525.00 as per the provisions of the "Development Procedures Bylaw, 1987,

No. 2243",

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution:

Seconded by Councillor Gordon:

That Rezoning Application No. 20/93 for 2455 Ottawa Street be referred to the Planning and
Development Committee for further consideration.

Carried.
Councillors Gates, Stewart
and Talbot voted against the resolution.

From the Director of Planning, July 20, 1994 regarding Development Variance Application No.
40/94 for 1388 Apel Drive.

That Council pass a resolution authorizing the Planning Department to prepare Development
Variance Permit No. 40/94 for 1388 Apel Drive under Section 974 of the Municipal Act; and

That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when completed subject to:

a. Completion of a subdivision design to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning;

b. Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements (excluding widening of access strips);

Satisfaction of the Building Department concems.

Registration of a restrictive covenant on the properties to prevent conversion of houses to
contain secondary suites. :
