Dear Sirs:

Re: Hastings Jr. Secondary School

Your letter dated May 6th, inquiring as to the possibility of
bussing students to the new Hastings Jr. Secondary School, was
considered by the Board of School Trustees at its regular meeting

on May 25th.

All the circumstances concerning this matter were considered but the
Board did not make an exception to policy. The policy for secondary
students is that buses will only be provided if the pupils live three
miles or more from the school. The distance in this case is consider~

ably less.
