LEISURE ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE

The Port Coquitlam Ringette Association wil be hosting the first
Provincial Ringette Championships on March 27 and 28, 1976. In orden to
accomodate the championships, it will be necessary to use Arena # 2 on
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m; Sunday {20m 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m;
Anena # 1 on Saturday fnom 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.3 Sunday from &:30 a.m.
to 1:30 p.m. Due to the time requirements, it will be necessary for the
Recreation Department to cancel three pubLic skating sessions. The
Leisure Activities Committee feels that these Provincial Championships
Wilk bring recognition to Port Coquitlam as well abs to the Ringette
Association. The Committee would ask Council's endorsation and, further,
that the rental charges for the Championships be waived.
