Recommendation: The Public Works Committee recommends to the Municipal Council that the Gravel Supply Contract for 1972 be awarded to the second lowest bidder that is Columbia Bitulithic Ltd., at their tendered prices. Recommendation: The Public Works Committee recommends to the Municipal Council that before final readsng is given to this By-law the Developer be required to submit ‘to the Engineering Department satisfactory design drawings showing the proposed storm sewer installation, sanitary sewer installation and street construction. . Re: With reference to Rezoning Application #3-72, to rezone Lots § & 6, Block 2, NEi, Sec. Twp. 40, Rlan 15600.- from RS-2 to RS~-1. . Recommendation: The Public Works Committee recommends to the Municipal Council that providing this rezoning application receives Council's approval following the public hearing, that before final reading to the proposed rezoning by-law is Passed by Council, the Developer be required to submit satisfactory design drawings to the Engineering Department showing the proposed storm sewer installation, Sanitary sewer installation and road construction. Item I Re: Winter Carnival Parade - March 4th, 1972. . ‘ Recommendations: The Traffic Committee recommends to the Municipal Council that "No Parking" . be posted on Shaughnessy Street -from Elgin Avenue to Wilson Avenue and that the R.C.M.P. control parking and vehicle traffic throughout the posted area as well as the Shaughnessy - Loughced intersection. The Committee further recommends to the Municipal Council that the Fire Department have a vehicle on the northside of town available for emergencies. . Item IT Rez One Way Lane - west of Shaughnessy Street between Whyte Avenue and McAllister Avenue. . The Traffic Committee recommends to the Municipal Council that the request for a one way Jane is premature to the Dewntown Concept, and that the request for a one way lane would be opposite to the direction of the one way lane to the southeast of the proposed liquor store.
