She was a former resident of Jacksonville, N.C. She was the last living child of Terrace founder, George A, Little and his wife Clara Beste Little. She left Terrace in | December, 1945 when she married an Amercdan and moved to North Carolina. She returned to Terrace and Lakelse Lake several times over the years, she was very | proud of her Canadian roots. A native of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, she was the wife of 56 years of Mr, Douglas L. Foy, who survives, j and the daughter of George A. Little and Clara M. Little, | both deceased. She attended First Baptist Church of Burlington. While in Jacksonville, she was an active | a volunteer for various civic and community services. Survivors other than her husband of the home include | a son, Mr, David Foy and his wife Vickie of Burlington; two daughters, Ms. Dot Foy of Elon and Ms, Lorraine Foy | of Murdoch Center, three grandchildren; and four great | grandchildren. She was preceded i in death by a son, Douglas M., Foy. A memorial service was held at the Rich and Thompson | Chapel by Dr. Craig McMahan.
