Organization held their monih-
ly meeting at the Happy Gang
Centre, Thursday, June 8 with
the President Hugh Power in
the chair.

During the meeting the
members observed a minutes’
silence for two members who
passed away in May.

Our president, Hugh Power,
is off to Courtenay, Vancouver
Island, to represent Branch
#73 at the B.C.O.A.P.O. con-
ference, A pot luck supper will
be held June 29 at the Happy
Gang Centre to hear Hugh’s
report of the business at the
conference.

was prepared and served May

18 by the male members in
honour of Mothers’ Day.
Many Community seniors at-
tended a delightful Spring Tea,
June 7, sponsored by the
Ladies of the Royal Purple. A

grateful ‘thank you” to the.

Ladies of the Royal Purple for
the delicious refreshments and
social afternoon.

Members met June 13 to
make plans for entering a float
in the Riverboat parade, Au-
gust 3.

Seniors’ Week, sponsored by
the Seniors’ Advisory Com-
mission, was observed June 5
to 11. Display tables were
staffed by Branch #73 Mem-
bers in the Terrace Co-op on
June 8, in the Skeena Mall on
June. 9, and in Safeway on

No meetings will be held
during summer recess. The
