They didn’t quite make It and fost out to Totem Gulf in the championship game. Softballers compete in Smithers There were more Ter- race minor softball teams than hometown teams at a weekend tour- nament in Smithers. And Terrace showed why by winning all three divi- sions. In the six-team Squirt division, Terrace Little Gassers finished first by beating Co-op Stars in the final. Middleton Trucking - took third place and Mr. Mikes came fourth. The only Smithers entries were fifth and sixth. Nine teams competed in the Peewee division, and again Terrace took the top four places. Operating Engineers were first, followed by C and B Services, CUPE Hawkeyes and Cedar- land Tire. The Terrace All Seasons ‘entry came last. Only four teams per- formed in the Bantam _ section.
