Thank you for allowing the C.P.T.E.D. (Crime Prevention Through Environmental
Design) program tu have input into the above planning application.

1 have some concerns that should be considered before this planning application is
approved,

The concerns involve the increase in traffic to the arew, increuse in pedestrian traffic and
the need for a third drinking establishment within the Port Coquitlam downtown core.

I will wtiempt Lo explain my position regarding each of these concerns.

i. Increase in traffic,

The pub will Increase the flow of traffic in and out of the area, People will not stay
ay long inside 4 pub compared to a restaurant. There will also be an increase when
off counter sales become puri of the establishment. There appears to be limited
parking for the pub itself.
