(the "City")

KINSMEN CLUB OF PORT COQUITLAM

(the "Lessee")

WHEREAS Section 679 of the Municipal Act R.S.B.C. 1979,
c. 290 empowers the Council by bylaw to lease or rent any

property in the City acquired, accepted and held for pleasure,
recreation or community uses of the public;

AND WHEREAS the City holds the Lands herein defined;
AND WHEREAS the Lessee, being a nonprofit Society

incorporated under the provisions of the Society Act R.S.B.C.
1979, ¢c. 390 desires to lease the Lands herein defined for the

purpose of operating and maintaining a community building;

AND WHEREAS the City agrees to lease the Lands herein
defined to the Lessee on the terms and subject to the conditions
set out herein;

NOW THEREFORE in consideration of the premises and of
the payment of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar by each party to the
other, receipt of which is acknowledged, the parties hereto AGREE
AS FOLLOWS:
