V3C 2A8 To whom it may concern: Enclosed is a petition against the SUPER MATL BOXES at the entrance of our subdivision, Harbourview Estates. I have gladly signed this ; petition for many reasons as explained below. | : fo just got out of the rain from again delivering mail put in my box by mistake. This happens at least once a week; a very poor average for Canada Post, especially considering that is just my house of many. When . ‘ . ns T asked the letter carrier what I should do with mail delivered to me in . oe error, I was told that I had to take it to the post office! Why should I : incur the auto expense and inconvenience of packing up my yound child to drive to the post office to correct so many mistakes made by Canada Post. . who is being paid to do that job, and do it right! Obviously, by all the : i . mail (yes, mail), flyers, magazines, elastic bands, turned over boxes, | A . os etc littering our nice gardens at these boxes, many other people feel the . | a | . same. Among this litter I have seen a "Second Tax Notice" and an ICBC i 7 invoice lying soaking on the ground for three days until I brought it to the ps A attention of a letter carrier, Will the tax department foreclose on this house . or insurance be cancelled without these people knowing until it is too late : and very costly to undo. What mail haven't I received??? And who is res-~ . ponsible for cleaning up the mess created by wrong and unwanted deliveries? ; I have to pay the same postage rate as people who have home delivery and no unsightly garbate to devalue their neighbourhood, or worries about a important mail not being delivered. I very much resent having my choice taken awa’ from me and for paying for "service" I am not receiving. BRING BACK: , HOME DELIVERY! Ps rs oy. ST. GERMAIN, M.A. —_ oretae
