That the "Letter of Intent to Lease" dated September 12, 1974 Shaughnessy
St.
wherein The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam agrees to lease a
portion of the building located on Lot B, Block 3, District Lot 379,
Group 1, Plan 1213, New Westminster District, being 2540 Shaughnessy
Street, Port Coquitlam, B. C., for use as Assessment Offices from October
1, 1974 at a rental of $6,132.00 per year be and the same is hereby
approved;
That the undertaking on the part of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam to pay the sum of $5,200.00 for the tenant improvements
specified in the letter from Lincoin Projects Ltd. dated September 12,
1974 be and the same is hereby approved;
AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
execute the necessary documents with respect to the above-noted matters
and affix the Corporate Seal thereto. Carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
From the City Clerk, October 21st, 1974, stating that Mayor Campbell City Clerk re
Blood Donor
advises that the City of Port Coquitlam has again won the blood donor trophy won by
City

trophy awarded by the Canadian Red Cross Society which was accepted by
him at a meeting on Thursday, October 17th, 1974 on behalf of the citizens

of Port Coquitlam and the Lions Club who have for some years been the

sponsor of this event in the City, and advising that the trophy will be
on display at the meeting this evening.
