On June 20, 1994, Curie Hoflin at
age 50 years died accidontally at
work,

Born on January 22, 1944 In
Beaverladgs Albarta, ha was tho
fourth of five childran. Ha moved fo

1979 marred Eilean Olson.

Much, He was Incredibly supportive
and helpful to his loving wile Eileen
before and after her recent surgary.
He was her strongast supporter, sure
that she was going to make a full
recovery, There was great love and
communication between them. He will
be very sadly missed. :

passed away suddenly on July
10,1994, at age 73, He is
survived by his beloved wife Elsie
of 48 years, 3 sons Malvin (Bev),
Gary (Marlene), Glen (Heather),
1 adopted son Douglas, &
grandchildren; Deanna, Lori,
David, Jamie, Desiree and
Keenan. He also leaves behind 2
brothers Peta & Ben, 3 sisters
Elta (Ken) McCowan, Linda (Bill)
Hazen and Freda (Jake)
Hildebrand and many nieces and
nephews. ;

Born in Saskatoon, Sask., Sept
20, 1920, David resided in Port
Coguitlam B.C. fram 1946 until
moving to Terrace In 1960.

The funeral service was held
July 14, 1994 at MacKay's
Funeral Home, Cremation
followed,

The family would like to thank
the members and staff of the
R.C. Legion Branch 73 for their
thoughtfulness and generosity.

The Kalum South timber supply analysis examined
current forest land use and management practices to
determine their effect on the availability of timber now
and in the future.

The analysis is the first of four reports to be released.
The others include: a socio-economic analysis;

a discussion paper for public input; and, the Chief
Forester’s allowable annual cut (AAC) determination
and rationale statement.

This analysis is part of a three-year timber
supply review which is examining all TSAs
in the province. The review will provide
the Chief Forester with information to
determine harvesting levels that are
environmentally sound and that ensure
the sustainability of B.C.’s forests.

Open houses will be held to provide an ligt
opportunity for the public to ask questions “awe
and examine background information’ —,
related to the timber supply review. The
dates and locations will be announced
with the release of the public
discussion paper.
