Two ground searchers found Fred Van Duffeien's snowmobile Tuesday but temporarily abandoned their hunt for the missing 26-year- old man because of failing light, RCMP Cpl. Van Duffelen, who manages a small handicraft industry in this community 2,000 kilometres north of Edmonton, has been missing since he went on an over- night trip Dec. 17 to hunt caribou in an area 40 kilo- metres from the settlement.
