eee Vgnar Yd THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MEMORANDUM B.R. Kirk : March 5, 1992 City Administrator LR. Zahynacz, P. Eng. City Engineer CT: That Council approve the installation of two soak-away catch basins plus associated asphalt work in the 2400 block of Wilson Avenue at an estimated cost of $6,000. That $6,000 be allocated from the Special Public Works Capital Reserve for this purpose. The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from Andrew de Boer, Project Engineer dated March 3, 1992 regarding a request from Laurie Giles, Property Manager of Orchard Valley Estates on Wilson Avenue conceming water ponding along the south side of Wilson Avenue. The closest available storra sewer, on Bury Avenue, is not deep enough for a storm sewer connection. Contracting a storm sewer along Wilson and Reeve Street would be costly. This problem will be resolved when the City reconstructs Wilson Avenue as part of the Wilson Connector and the drainage problem would be resolved. In the interim, it is recommended that two soak-away catch basins be installed complete with associated asphalt work at an estimated cost of $6,000. t Pee LR. Zahynacz,PrBtig. City Engineer IRZ:gc Attachment Treasurer’s Comments I verify that there is sufficient funds in the Special Public Works Capital Reserve for this purpose.
