and that none of the cost of providing the said works and services shall
constitute “excess or extended services” as defined by Section 990 of the
Municipal Act.

AND THAT the aforesaid Agreement be and the same is hereby
approved and that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign the
same on behalf of the City and to affix the Corporate seal thereto.”

That the Modification of Main Agreement document dated the 7th
day of November 1988 between Western Mortgage Development Corporation and
the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam as contained in the Agenda
documents for the Council meeting of November 7th, 1988 be approved;

And That His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
sign the said Modification Agreement on behalf of the City and affix the
City's Corporate seal thereto.

That Council approve the canvassing of all households in the City
by the Boy Scouts on December 3rd, 1988 to distribute an information
brochure and blue bags to increase participation in the Newspaper
Recycling Program, and that a budget of $4,000 be approved for the
project which included a donation of $2,000 to the Scouts for their
assistance.
