October 22nd, 1979. /7 Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Committee, October 17th, 1979 Rezoning Application, R#19-~79, to rezone properties on Ryan Street to create six RS-1 lots and one RT~1 lot proceed to Public Hearing: AND THAT the sale of road allowances be referred to the Land Sales Committee. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Mabbett asked if a berm would be built on Ryan Street and the City Planner advised there are trees in the area and construction of a berm would not be necessary. The City Planner mentioned the duplex lot location and stated that even though it was close to an existing duplex it did meet the standard criteria. From the Public Works Committee, October 18th, 1979 recommending PWC, Oct. 18/79 re that commercial farms remain on a flat water rate but that By-law No. Water Rates —- commercial 991 be amended so that the exemption for residential premises from metering farms.
