Total damages - $171,000

Approximately $125,000 damages to Canadian Legion with possible cause; a lighted
cigarette in the waste material in the office area. Approximately $5,000 to a
home cause; design by a disturbed person. $500.00 damages to kitchen of a home
caused when children put toys on the stove and turned the elements on. $500.00
to a home caused when children lit ornamental trees close to the home. $40,000
damages to a farm when fire “estroyed a pig bam and a number of pigs — cause
unknown but suspected arson.

We are still experiencing a number of false alarms in schools when person or persons
unknown have pulled a pull station. Also a number of fires in garbage containers,
mail boxes and paper boxes.

54 Inhalator calls, 29 home emergencies consisting of heart attacks, diabetic coma,
strokes, breathing problems, cuts and broken bones catised from falls and other
accidents. Attended and treated 7 patients at sports events or accidents on parks.
Attended 10 motor vehicle accidents, child fell from a bus, young girl fell from

a bicycle, horse fell and rolled on a girl, one attempted suicide and 3 overdoses.
