September 15th, 1975 Ald.Keryluk re Alderman Keryluk added his comments with regard to the Convention UBCM Convention & dyking & and made reference to a conversation with the representatives of the drainage-Port Coquitlam Provincial Dyking and Drainage Department who advised that further area information could be obtained by writing Mr. David Fuller, Chief Engineer, in Victoria with regard to Dyking and Drainage in the Port Coquitlam area. The City Administrator advised that a letter from Mr. Williams would be circulated in the morning, and would be discussed further at the next meeting of Council. Ald.Keryluk re Alderman Keryluk commented on the recent enrolment figures supplied school enrolment figures by the School Board and noted that while elementary registrations were down some 500 students, the secondary registrations were up by approximately 200. Ald.Keryluk re Alderman Keryluk inquired if a demolition order had been issued for demolition - vacant house~cor. the vacant house at the corner of Coast Meridian Road and Prairie Avenue Cst.M.Rd. & Prairie Ave. and was advised by the City Building Inspector that he had requested that the owner demolish the structure at an early date but so far no action had been taken. Alderman Traboulay suggested that the building could be up-graded to a suitable level for use as a sheltered workshop or some other such use as had peen planned for the "Schinz" property and requested that the owner be contacted to determine if such a plan would be possible.
