(CP) — Tom Spink of Dartmouth Says soccer has grown rapidly in Nova Scotia because it is a simple sport with high exercise value and few injuries. -Spink is president of the youth division of Soccer Nova Scotia, which handles all players 18 years and younger who are not involved in the school leagues, “Registration has doubled since last year to 3,000 for this season,’’ he said. “We have had fantastic response on the minor level because soccer is such a simple game to organize.
