récitaliste. Soliste invitée d'orchestres, chambriste et accompagnatrice au Canada,

Espagne, Japon, France et aux Etats-Unis, elle est récipiendaire de plusieurs bourses et
prix nationaux. Aprés son Bac et sa Maitrise a l'Université de la Colombie-Britannique en
1993, elle fut artiste en résidence au Centre d'Art de Banff en 1993-94, et au Pacific Music
Festival de Sapporo au Japon en 1995. Aprés avoir donné un récital 4 Valence, (Espagne),
Sylvie s'est établie 4 Vancouver début 1996. Depuis, elle fut soliste invitée par le Vancouver
Philharmonic Orchestra, et s'est fait appréciée dans plusieurs séries de concerts 4 Vancouver.
Sylvie Beaudoin a enseigné 4 UBC, au Centre Musical en Sol mineur au Québec, au Delta
Community School of music en C.B. et elle donne également des cours privés dans son studio
de Vancouver.

Piss canadienne, Sylvie Beaudoin donne des concerts depuis 1974 en tant que

soloist of orchestras, Chamber musician and accompanist in Canada, Spain, Japan,

France and the United States. A recipient of many national awards, prices and sholar-
ships, she studied with Jane A. Coop and other distinguished artists in Canada and abroad.
Following her bachelor and master's degrees at the University of British Colombia in 1993,
she was a resident artist at the Banff Center for the Arts and at the Pacific Music Festival of
Sapporo in Japan... then moved to Vancouver in 1996. She was a guest soloist with the
Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra and she continues to perform extensively for local con-
certs' series. Beside a teaching assistantship position at the University of British Columbia,
Sylvie also teaches at her studio in Vancouver.
