RE: Drainage Problem at 4080 Oxford Street

Mr. Jim Ritchie of 4080 Oxford Street has indicated that storm water from the street
enters his property bringing gravel and water into his driveway.

I have reviewed the site and concur with Mr. Ritchie that the way the shoulder and road

are graded in front of the cemetery, adjacent to his property, that when it rains the water is
funnelled into his driveway.

It is recommended that a Catch Basin and lead be installed in the boulevard adjacent to his

property to intercept any run off water before it enters his property at an estimated cost of
$3,750.00

Kindly forward this request to the Public Works Committee for their approval.
