wale, be Men da ri cea April 26, 1991 The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam -2. We would propose to undertake the aforementioned services on a fixed fee basis. Associated’s structural group is geared to providing services on a fixed fee basis and only projects where the scope of services are uncertain are undertaken on a cost reimbursement basis. The reasons for this are that it fosters a work ethic which is heneficial to both Associated Engineering and its clients, which resuits in a superior product and cost-effective performance which we are able to pass on to our clients. The beneficial effect that we are able to offer to the benefit of our clients is an approximate savings of between 10 and 20% in our fees resulting from more efficient working practices and reduced administration in project Management and job accounting. Accordingly we have proposed to undertake the work described for the following al] inclusive fixed fees: Preconstruction Services * Items 1 through 3: $ 9,500 Construction Services ‘ Items 4 through 6: $5,000 Subtotal $14,500 G.S.T. 1,015 TOTAL $15,515 . We believe that these fees are very competitive for the extent of work required to complete this project. We would be pleased to discuss our proposal with you and answer any questions you may have. In the interim, we look forward to your favourable consideration. Yours truly, —~sLeontvladr 7 / §. Gunadasa, P.Eng. Project Engineer MGJ/SG/kk/dp.1 ASSOCIATED ENGINEERING be HN)
