That the 199G Revenue Sharing Highways Grant Applications consist of the following roads: a. Mary Hill Road adjacent to the Genstar Property ($860,000), and b. East half of Westwood from Christmas Way to Kingsway ($840,000). That the necessary design work for Project lb above proceed as soon as possible and that upon satisfactory completion of this work, the District of Coquitlam be reimbursed for the estimated &ngineering Consultant Fees in the amount of $25,000. 3, That the funds required for recommendation 2 above be taken from the 1990 Unallocated Public Works Capital Budget. Backaround and Comments: Applications for the 1990 Revenue Sharing Highways Grant are due at the end of this year. Under this Program the Province will fund 50% of the eligible components of approved capital road projects. The submission of the recommended projects will not necessarily commit Council to the construction of these projects. Council will have the opportunity to assess the merits of these projects against other public works projects during the upcoming detailed budget discussions. In order for staff to submit an application under this Program a resolution of Council is required.
