SUBJECT: Parking. Restrictions to.assist Metro Transit.
Works and Services Committee, February 7th, 1984.

RECOMMENDATION:

That. "No Parking at Any Time" signs be placed on the
east side of Mary Hil! Road from Wilson Avenue north to the
second :driveway of the shopping center and on the south side of
“Wilson ‘Avenue from Mary Hill Road to a polnt ten. meters. east.

BACKGROUND ANO COMMENTS :

7 ‘The. above two restrictions ware requested by. Metro
Transit In order to make It easier for buses’ to turn between
Wilson Avenue and Mary HI1! Road. The occasional vehicie which
parks betyeen the driveways at the shopping center.or. near. the
corner. in: front of the. Library causes buses to swing. across the
center tine when making the turns.
