BY-LAW NO. 1702

A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to

dispose of a walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43857, District Lot 232, Group

One, New Westisinster District in exchange for sufficient land to relocate the

said walkway.
WHEREAS The Corporation or the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of
cancelling a walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43857, District Lot 232, Group

One, New Westminster Distvict in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of

British Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this
Ey-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands
comprising the walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43857, District Lot 232, Group
One, New Westminster District, to be cancelled;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised Statutes
of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By-law dispose of
any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands’ as may be necessary for the
purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the
highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1, The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized

‘to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this
By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises
which may be more particularly described as follows:

‘All that portion of walkway shown dedicated on Plan 43857 in District

Lot 232, Group One, New Westminster District having an area of

0.0099 ha., included within the green outline on a By-law Plan

svorn by Robert M. Reese, B.C.L.S. and dated the 19th day of June,

1979, a copy of which is attached hereto
at or for the price or sun of One Dollar ($1.00) and in exchange for
those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof...
