Mabbett and G.R. Laking in attendance. The discussions centered around the particular problem of letting the citizen in the immediate 'cat:chment' area know what was being discussed by the various Council Committees, either in A - major plan amendments B - major policy changes (e.g. Housing styles) C ~ major rezonings. ‘It is the recommendation of this Housing Committee that we use the areas to be known as the "School Catchment Areas" be each area in the City that the citizens be informed of any proposals coming forth under A, B and C. And further that the ratepayers' groups, be one of the key areas that Council keep informed as to what is being studied prior to Public Hearings, etc.
